Our mission is to forge lifelong relationships based a foundation of trust and transparency.
We are dedicated to creating value through a deep commitment to service and consultative process. We work closely with you to formulate a comprehensive wealth management plan and provide guidance and direction. Our focus is on you and what you deem important.
It takes thoughtful planning to help ensure your wealth is continually working for you. As circumstances change, so must the investment strategies we use to help you stay on course. That is why we are committed to sitting on the same side of the table with you in designing and implementing investment strategies tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Let us show you what Stifel could do for you.
I began my investment services career in 1982 with the First of Michigan Corporation, where I met my former business partner, Angelo Panoff. In 1996, I served as Branch Manager for PaineWebber's office in Flint. I managed 17 advisors and staff through the 2004 merger with UBS Financial Services.
In 2008, I joined Wachovia Securities (acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors) and served as Branch Manager of the Flint branch in 2008. In 2017, my team joined Stifel with the opening of its first branch in Flint.
I live in Grand Blanc with my beautiful wife, Joanne. I am the proud father of three children and grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren. I strive to maintain good physical health and my hobbies include: travel, golf, paddleball, stream fishing, and mountain climbing.
I grew up outside of Detroit and graduated from Michigan State University before serving on active duty in the United States Army. I deployed four times in support of the Global War on Terror while assigned to 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. When I left active duty to focus on my family, my wife, Jamie, and I moved back to Michigan, where we now live with our three children, Jack, Brody, and Mia.
By focusing on the four cornerstones of wealth, we are able to leverage the talents of our team and the full resources of Stifel to strive to make a significant impact on our client's lives.
I have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, which identifies those individuals who have met the experience requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements.
I have worked in the financial services industry since 2010. My responsibilities range from operational to account maintenance to client service and support.
I earned a B.S. in Health Communication and M.S. in Communications at Grand Valley State University and hold the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities license.
In my free time, my husband, Josh, and I enjoy spending time with our two daughters, Peyton and Piper, as well as spending time at our lake with family and friends.
